With the latest release, ad group level performance reporting is now available for Google Ads campaigns. This feature provides more granular insights into your GA campaign performance and enables better analysis and optimization.


Key Features

  • Ad Group-Level Performance Metrics: Access detailed metrics including spend, impressions, clicks, CPM, and more, all at the ad group level.
  • Comparison of Planned vs. Actual Values: Evaluate the effectiveness of your campaigns by comparing planned metrics (if available) against actual performance.
  • Keyword Targeting for Search Campaigns: For search campaigns, a detailed keyword targeting setup at the ad group level is also available, offering a deeper understanding of your targeting strategy.
  • Ad Level Details: Clicking on any ad group will reveal a view of the underlying ads, including a creative preview for each ad.



Getting Started

  • Navigate to Performance -> All Campaigns -> Campaign Reports and click on View Performance button for your desired Google Ads campaign.
  • Click on View Ad Group Performance to see the ad group-level performance metrics along with planned values.
  • You can further view the associated keywords / ads of any ad group by clicking on the corresponding links.
